I need some tires today got a tear somehow in my toyo t1r's which is bull**** they are only a year old too.... but now i must change all 4 so im hoping one of you guys got some tires you could sell me. I'm in san jose and cant go too far cuz im on the spare, hope someone can help me out.... thanks

I was jus driving to school yesterday afterwork picked up my girl and heard this rubbing, thought my rear caliper was rubbing to see a tear about 2 inches long in my tire. I sure hope someone has got somethin tho.... so what is this kumho place u are talking about? do they have used tires or somethin?

can't you buy the same tire and simply have it shaved to match the others?

 

I have a set. They are mounted on a set of wheels though. If you are willing pay for unmounting them, I can sell them to you. Once I get home I can grab my tread gauge and take some pics for you.

 

can they do that? shave down a tire? that sounds kinda smart haha a lot cheaper if possible too...

They are Fullrun tires. I 99% sure they are 225/40/18. I am at the dealership for service right now once I get home I'll go look and make sure.

It might be a good idea to call up your preffered tire shop and see if they do shaving. Some places do it and some don't. I think it also depends on how much they have to shave off too.

I have a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires 225/45/18 that I can send your way for $400

 

Ok so I just looked at them, the tires I have are Fullrun HP199 225/40/18. All of them have about 8/32 worth of tread on them and they have a tiny bit of corner wear.

All four are currently mounted and they all hold air.
