MTB DH wheelset
Okay, I have a set of Sun/Ringle Mammoth rims and 36 hole Ringle SuperDuper Bubba hubs built up with 14g straight gauge spokes. The front hub is threaded for bolts, but I don't have them.
These things are BOMB proof DH or "freeride" (I hate that) wheels. You have to see them to really appreciate how huge these things are.
These things are basically brand new. No hard miles on them. Had them built right before I dislocated my shoulder a while back. Sold my DH bike and just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the wheels.
Here are some pics from the intarweb. I will take pics of my wheels tonight.
Retail for these was ~ $500. I am looking to get ~$200. I am pretty firm, but make me an offer and we'll see.

The front can be used with a skewer or bolts. The cool thing is they are kind of an offset D shape, so when you use bolts, it doesn't twist and is super rigid. The rear is skewer only, I believe. It's not so important, because it doesn't go through the kind of stressing and torquing the fronts do. I'll check tonight, though.
I should also let you know that I have the silver not black rims ( the center section is still black, though). They are wide as hell, good for preventing pinch flats.
These are not disk hubs. Have I scared you away, yet?
thanks,
Ryan
I can bring them to UCKK (not this week) if you want to see them.

He gives me the closer...more exact build...way more expensive and stronger build...nobody gets as close as this guy.haa. he's on the east coast....he's another fellow moderator on our mtb forum...you should check it out sometime... www.pinkbike.com. Same name over there. but I have mod status..lol.
