Moving Sale
I'll be moving soon (not far, just to Dublin), so I'm using that as an excuse to get rid of some of the stuff I have laying around, some of it for quite some time. Help me pay for my closing costs:
SOLD $50 -- Vishnu solid uppipe USED ~40k miles.
I had a small leak that whole time, but it would seal after 5 minutes of driving. From looking at the gaskets and the flanges it actually looks like the leak was in the usual spot, at the manifold/uppipe joint. It doesn't look all shiny anymore, but it's still a 321 stainless steel pipe, It worked as well when I removed it (one piece header install) as when I first installed it.
Whee, this is for sale again from the dude who bought it from me. He bought it from me at $50 and is selling it on nasioc for $150:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=549199
Now that's class
Pending Sale$175 -- MRT street spec caster camber adjustable top mounts.
I never actually used these. I got my DMS sorted out with STi mounts and don't really feel like messing with these. I tried to get them in before I was doing other stuff, but the timing didn't work out. I paid $200 used for them, they've just been sitting around. these are the SAME as the Noltec ones. They have a couple marks where the previous owner used a pry bar to move the tops around, not major at all, but it is noticeable...shouldn't impact performance, but it will keep you from a pristine engine bay.
$80 -- Trendware 8 port 10/100/1000 GIGABIT ethernet switch.
I moved up to a 16port in anticipation of wiring my new place, 8 ISN'T enough...but it may be for you. Used for less than a month before I decided to get a 16 port. 10/100/1000 worka all at the same time (I used it that way for a short time, one comp at 10, one at 100, and two at 1000). It also autodetects uplinks (to cascade switches) and will automatically correct if you use a crossover cable. I didn't buy it from newegg, but it's this one: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...111-479&depa=0
Have original packaging and manual (as if you need a manual for a switch).
$120 -- Promise Fastrack SX4000 RAID 0/1/0+1/5 PCI card, 4 ports UATA 133/100 (133 read/100 write) supports 66MHz PCI bus.
I bought this for my RAID setup and could NOT make it work with Linux unless I used a WAY out of date kernel. Works great in windows. Excellent card for the price for a RAID 5 array. I ended up buying a 3Ware card ($$$) for the linux compatibility. This comes with a 256MB PC133 ECC DIMM for the cache (maximum size for the card, this alone was like $80). I do not have the CD, but do have the manuals, drivers can be downloaded from the Promise website. I have 3 of the 4 IDE cables. i can't find the 4th right now, but if I find it while packing/unpacking I will give it to the buyer. I bought this used on eBay. I used it for a short time in Windows, pretty much just enough to build an array and run a few benchmarks and such during that time I used it at both 33MHz and 66MHz PCI bus without issues.
SOLD ... umm, not sold, given away FREE -- 6 AWG wire.
They were throwing a bunch of it out at work, so I took it out of the bin, used some of it, but now have a bunch left over. There are about 6 sections, each between about 6 and 8 feet in length. Plus I have two or three short sections, like a foot or two. The insulation is black and rated at 2000V (!) and 90C. I've had this stuff in my engine bay for my amps for well over a year, and no problems. It is reasonably flexible but not super pliable either. Would be great for a homebuilt rounding kit or for custom amp installations. I can split this between a couple people if need be.
Added 4/28:
$150 -- APS HFTO (Jet-Hot 2000 grey coated)
Decided to do a bolt on instead of custom. This was never used. I have the heatshield and all the accessories
$150 -- APS cat
Same deal, never used. APS flanges are like 80mm, which is slightly larger than 3", but 3" gaskets will fit if you slot them. Those two, a muffler, plus some welding get you a cheap custom turboback.
I am in Milpitas most of the day, can meet up evenings just about anywhere from Northern San Jose area up to 92 on the peninsula or Oakland area in the east bay. I can ship if necessary, but prefer to just meet up.
Thanks

K, but you have to make me a UTEC remote switch (I'll pay for it) ... I asked Mike about them but he told me just to talk directly with you
You need them urgent like, or just next UCKK is cool? I haven't been in a while, I need to show up anyway.

you guys really crack me up....
i saw a good deal and jumped on it, then figured i'd rather get something with a flex. and what better way to raise some money then selling something for a profit?
you two act like you never tried to make a buck...but keep those satirical post coming, they keep me entertained during work.
