Question

I know you probably don't have the answer to this but can I just replace my DirectTV receiver with this one without paying any fees and all ? Just plug-n-play maybe ?

You can plug and play with this receiver, but if you want the HD DirecTV package then it's an additional $9.99/mth.

Yes, you need the LNB3 dish too. But if you check with DirecTV I think they will upgrade it for free with a two year agreement for the service. I just got upgraded to a LNB5 dish at no cost, but the took the LNB3 setup.

Not sure about that or what it is. It's model number DTC210 and again it's RCA.

It does have:
DVI output with HDCP
Componet Video Output
Dolby Digital Sound Capability
Advanced Program Guide
One-button Record
On-Screen Caller ID Capability
Universal RF/IR Remote with illuminated device keys
ATSC & NTSC

I'll check it out tonight and let you know.

I know it's approx. 24" deep. That's why I had to get a new one. We only had about 22" to work with in our new media center/area.

I'll check the kids' media center tonight and see if it goes that deep. We've got a Sony in there now which is fairly deep. It's starting to have some picture issues so this might be a good time to replace it.
