thanks everyone for your support. i finally talked to the guy and he said he already spent the money on new wheels. i asked him if I can trade my wheels for other parts that would fit my car. this is what he has. . .Here's what his last response said. . .

Hey man, sorry that the rims didn't fit. I'm only the middle man for this whole thing. This is all my buddy's stuff and the money was used to by rims for his car so it was already spent. But I'll find out from him whether he is down to do that. I don't see why he wouldn't so I'll get back to ya.

my thoughts are to drive there and exchange them? or just take the chances and sell my wheels for what i bought them for which was 2K. . . or keep them switch out hubs with someone. . . or by adapters. . . your thoughts everyone!

Mark, if he's got 5x114 18x9's in bronze, it sounds like the buddy just grabbed the wrong wheels. Confirm that, and get the right ones from him. I'm not saying it's not shady BS, but it seems like the other wheels are still there? Or are the 18x9's 5x100 as well?
