rebuilding my engine and machine shop ****ed up... overbored cylinder beyond spec and their solution was to tell me to buy oversized piston rings... so i took all my parts back and told them to shove it... so...

anybody out there got a block halve from a EJ257 that they dont need or are planning on sending out to to get sleeved or something... could do me a solid and swap with me...

why not have them pay for some sleeves and get the shortblock sleeved?

 

I wouldn't trust them putting in sleeves on an nitro rc and much less them putting some into a car. Also they claim that's how it was when I brought it to them... I have no way of to show proof other than piston could not scuffed off about .5mm and only on 1 cylinder but somehow .05mm on all others... Funny coincidence...
