Came from a 2000 Legacy and was used with my factory alarm. It's identical to the wrx remote except both buttons are grey. I guess the dealer will have to re-program it for your car.

You can program this yourself too. Just read your car's manual. All you have to do is use the key to turn the car on and off a few times then use the remote. It is all explained in the car's manual and pretty easy.
