Just curious...did you spill oil in your trunk?

 

Yeah i have a leak from one of the tail lights, when it rains it gets kind of nasty in there. The damage to the box is all superficial, the carpet on the box got wet.

 

will those 2 10 JL audio 10w3's mate up to this power acoustics 980/2 amp? the link to amp is here.. http://www.mobilestereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=3865 .. and also how long did u have them for? condition?

 

Im pretty sure they will, mine were hooked up to the rockford fosgate 900watt dual channel. I've had them for 3 years. They sound ****ing great, the version 2's had better materials than the originals. One of them does have a small scrape on the speaker but it doesnt affect how it sounds. The box looks better in person than in the pictures, the parts that have some wear are on the back from rubbing against the amp and on the bottom there is a little water damage to the carpet. I'd be willing to part with both the speakers and the box for $200

 

Haha, i just noticed in the picture what you were talking about. Yeah i had a bottle of Marvel Myster Oil that had opened in the trunk.. left that gunky mess you see on the left.. that never touched the box at all , the box was sitting on the carpet when it was installed.
