Is the "STi GeNome" etched on the side? Does not seem like.

This one does not have the Sti etching. Looks like some have it etched, some have a pink STI overlay, and some are blank. I never got to put it on my car but it came off an STI. Was gonna try and find another one for duals but I couldn't.

Doing some more research. This is what was told to me when I bought it. Not sure what the replicas look like but the quality seems to confirm Jdm.

This is a real piece, just that the blanks are actually a USDM GeNome and its built, fit, and sound EXACTLY the same as the JDM counterpart. The JDM ones are more sought out for and pull more monies having the Etched tip. All GeNomes have a 2.5" inlet (not 3"). I has the USDM one

Damn I really mislabeled this haha. Thanks so much! Weird though that the exhaust shop told me the connector on the back hooks up to a 3". Maybe just the inside of the can is 2.5" to quiet it down...

I seen people have shops weld up 3" pipes to the inlet of the canister and works fine, might have been previously cut for this purpose, who knows but it does work. This axleback is extremely quiet on a warmed up idle and light throttle driving but opens up loud on WOT as it climbs up the RPMs, not as loud as an N1 melon shooter although it looks like one.

^dalton above says its a real USDM Genome. I had it mislabeled. I thought it was just jdm without the pink etching because of the good quality.
