JDM V7 STI Spec C-RA transmission swap
I'm getting rid of my car. The first thing I have for sale is my V7 6 speed trans swap... complete.
$5500 obo CALL IF INTERESTED (Ash 408 314 3909)
Maybe trade for a small trackable Honda or something else?
Still in the car for a short time so serious buyers can drive it before they buy it!
includes the following:
-6 spd trans with around 25-30k on it (shifts like new)
-RA gears (about 3750rpm at 80mph)
-50/50 torque split front/rear
-LSD front diff
-R180 LSD rear diff
-STI 5x100 rear hubs w/brembos (matt black)
-rear axels
-drive shaft
-front axel adapters (no front hubs, you use stock)
Extras included in price:
-Cobb adjustable short shifter
-Cobb shifter bushings
-Kartboy rear shift bushing
-group N tranny mount
-ACT 6 puck with only 3500 miles on it
Basically it's a tarmac hill climb tranny. The 50/50 split has crazy traction out of corners. With my suspension setup it will pull the front in and just step out the rear at full throttle. Not raced and only seen one track day.

If you're serious about doing a tranny swap you won't find a better deal than this.
Plus you can repair your stuck syncro and sell all the parts off your car and make back nearly all the money.

Yeah, it's been a daily driver. It's not that bad at all and the mileage was bad to begin with... It didn't suffer that much.
It comes with front axel adapters (from stock legacy gt auto) and uses the stock axels. This was the best way to make it work for my wagon cause the sedan front conversion requires a lot of parts that are really hard to find. The stock axels have held up great even with 290AWHP.
One of my favorite things about my setup is that the rear brembos clear the stock 16 inch wheels (with very minor modification). 290 AWHP full sti swap and it looks completely stock. Although it is lowered just a little bit on Spec C take offs.
Some one buy this please before I convince my wife I can afford to keep it!

what are you gonna do with your wagon?

3800 rpm at 80 isn't bad. And you can have the final gear swapped out if you feel you need it. The way these gears line up with smashing 1-5 is amazing. How often do you need to do 140 anyways. haaaa.

The wagon is going completely back to stock and getting sold. Some time soon I'll have a crazy list of parts for sale... I was just thinking... You can do a compression check and leak down on a motor but you cant check out a tranny unless it's in a car the runs. So I'm starting here. As soon as the tranny sells, I'll strip all the goodies off at the same time.
I already have an EJ20 and all the other parts I need to unpimp my ride... the only thing I dont have is a front diff for the five speed. Anyone got one laying around??? I have lots to trade. =)
