I was new (a crate Tranny) when I got it, so it has about 10k on it. I do not drag race and I only have a stage sub-zero chip, so it has not seen alot of power go through it.

They do use R-180s on the STi, I have a R-160 that has the correct 3.90 ring and pinion with a Kazz lsd. I did this in order to retain the stock hubs and abs sensors. If you go with an R-180 you need to replace the axles, hubs and brakes. Its still not spoken for yet infact it is still in the car till at least next week.

hmm, I actually have the sti brembos and had to hack some **** to make that fit. ideally I'd want to replace the axles and use an r180, but I guess your solution would swap right in.

btw, will you need a 5MT?

Yeah, Idealy if you were making big power the R-180 would be the way to go. I have a 5 speed sourced.

what kind of deal are you getting on the 5spd? I could buy your 6spd a lot easier if I could get rid of my 5spd at the same time.

I have an 03 w/10k miles on it
