Hi-fi: NAD amp and Cambridge Audio DAC, cheap
Recently upgraded a couple of things so these are for sale, and priced to sell.
Amp
NAD C315BEE. 2 x 40W RMS stereo amplifier. Excellent entry point to proper hi-fi sound. Ideal for bookshelf speakers, but does a better job than you'd think driving floor standers.
DAC
Cambridge Audio DACMagic II. This is the older late 90s model, not the current generation. Coax and optical inputs, 48KHz max. Nice boost to your average CD player, but an ideal partner to a PC or Mac with optical out. Does not have a USB input.
$100 the pair picked up Oakland. Not looking to separate. Trying local and cheap first to avoid shipping. Not interested in any trades at the moment.
Pic of Dacmagic is not the actual unit, just something I found on the net. Actual unit is about 6.5/10 cosmetically. NAD amp is 9/10.
