Exclamation Help: what kind of coils should i get?

im looking at some coils right now b/c im just seriously frustrated on trying to find the right oem shock and strut for my 03 wrx.

i tried to fit 04 and 05 sti shock and struts, and failed. they both would not fit and i dont know why? maybe hub?

nevertheless, what kind of coils should i get?

they were two i was looking at, well price range.

first: BC racing

Second: ISC N1 suspension.

i am in a budget crisis so i was thinking the ISC, what do you guys think.

why do you want sti struts? they'll just blow.

get some konis or tokicos with some springs (sti pinks, RCE black or yellow, tanabes, etc)

05 STi+ struts will not fit WRX's due to different hubs. You most likely had 05 STi struts. If you are on a budget, you can always get Koni or Tokico struts. They perform better than stock struts and cost a few hundred less than coilovers. Just some food for thought.

First of all, why aren't you trying to fit struts designed for your car? I can guarantee you some KYB GR2's or AGX's designed for your model year will fit...

Not trying to sound like a dick, but it's not that difficult.

Maybe he wants his ish adjustable? Hence why he's asking for coilovers.

04 STI struts aren't adjustable, which leads me to believe he's just looking for a replacement.

OP if I read correctly you're just looking for replacements for a daily driven car. You can use KYB with your stock springs or get koni inserts for more dampening.

I have a set of STi Struts that are drilled out to fit a WRX with Eibach lowering springs on them. They're on my bugeye wagon right now, I'm looking around for a set of coilovers. Just saw this and just thought i'd mention it since i'll probably sell them after I find a replacement

The best thing to do is go to the meets and ask people what they run, then ask if they can take you for a spin around the block so you can see how the ride is. Each persons opinion on what a ruff ride is varies.
