If they are used cars, look closely to see if either have been abused.

But man, that cast iron 4G63 is just amazing and it just got better and better. At the EQ dyno day there was a guy with a gt37r evo VIII pushing 32 psi it made 550 whp on a mustang dyno, and the best part complete stock block. Its like you could go nuts on these things and it never has a problem. I really want to pick up a used 8/9 when they come down in price in the near future for a project car. Its not like mileage is really a issue either from a project car stand point.

As a former DSMer: True, the car you are about to get most likely was abused. People don't get MRs for no reason so previous owners.
Other than that, SICK RIDE, drove one few months ago......shiet puuuuuuuuulls!!!!

Evos are so ugly...
The 08 WRXs are worse though.
Go with the Evo.
More potential there and I think you will like it a whole hell of a lot more.

Just remember. It will never sound as nice as a Subaru. =D

depends on what you wanna do, but out of those 2 I would go with the evo... the 08's are kinda like the red-headed step child

Sorry if I offended anyone...
