yo Mark,

I think you can just weld a piece of metal to mimic the bracket. I don't really see a problem without it anyways. I just zip tied the line to the shock body.

I never tracked my car, so as for street, these were good to me. I wouldn't mind having another set, but I got a deal on another set of coilover.
