For the idiots such as myself...could you further explain what exactly is "under-driven"? also another stupid question, being that it's just a hunk o metal, but what's the warranty?

An underdrive pulley will drive all of your accessories slower, therefore dropping the charging systems capability.

2 yr warranty

Thanks

I know it won't affect none of the electical stuffs, but does it affect the crank when it rotates? Does it affect the engine? Do I have to do any remapping(ECUtek) or any other EM for it? Sorry for many questions, but I really want one of this. Thanks

You don't need to reflash your ECU to use this mod but tuning doesn't hurt.

Thanks

currently, I have up, dp, and exhaust with EcuTek, I was wondering if I add this on, would it cause my current map to run rich or lean or any other problems if I dont tune it.

You can't see it once it's installed

chakming888 - It won't affect your map to run rich or lean. It improves engine response and allows for a faster rev.

are you sure it's undetectable when installed? I thought it's right up front and center in the engine bay?

also, have you guys had the opportunity get a WRX w/the pulley on the dyno to see if there's any actual hp benefit (however minimal)? Some companies claim anywhere from 1-8 hp from their pulleys.

Hey guys,

The crank pulley is in front - it's hard to see, but if you're looking for it you'll see it.

A crank pulley gains a few whp on the dyno, but primarily it assists in a faster and smoother rev as you're essentially lightening mass off the rotating assembly. I noticed a fairly big difference after installing the crank pulley. The effect is similar to a lightened flywheel.

Word of caution, not for use with an excessively light flywheel (such as 9lbs) as this will trigger misfires (too much mass reduction).

Cheers,

Gary
