(pls move this thread on the "bay area" forum, tnx)
I was driving 60mph, and this tiny little stone gave my car a 9-inch crack on my windsheild (passenger). I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get my windshield fix ?
And i was wondering for an '04 WRX, (not sure) but the antenna is integrated with the windshield, is there a special glass that I should tell the shop for that?
thanks!

Is it diamond triump (the company they used). coz so far, that's the best quote i had so far.. but not so sure about the service and the glass they use...
(i jas made a research, and i think that's the same place.)
What was your complain about their service? is it the glass that they use?

my complaints...
1) they scratched the clearcoat b/c the "technician" didn't cover the side of my car before he started removing the rear glass (rear glass breaks into small pieces & they should know this)
2) they didn't get the roof moulding settled correctly, so it was raised...their excuse was that the clip wouldn't seat itself; do they think i'm stupid enough to accept that explanation for their incompetence?!?!?!
3) after some complaints to 21st century, they agreed to buy me new mouldings, so i hesitantly dropped the car off; when they returned the car, i noticed a flat tire afterwards, before i could even drive it.
that flat could not be repaired, so i had to prematurely dispose of that set of S-03's. since the tires were a few thousand miles from being replaced and i didn't want ANYTHING to do with them, i didn't didn't seek recourse. needless to say, i gave 21st century a mouthful about the autoglass place.

Call Elizebeth at Creative Kustoms in San Jose.
They have this dude that does their stuff for them. He did a good job on my window last week and his prices for windshields are really really cheap.

anyone know of good, inexpensive, mobile installers (they come to your home/office)? i had someone come out for my old accord windshield and it was only like $200. but this was in san diego.

the guy quoted me about $175 installed.. and he would be doing it on sight. and it is a brand new window.. if anyone needs his number, let me know.
