I've been trying to sell/trade my 02 WRX for a 2.5RS+cash for a few years now, but haven't been able to since the title is under my dad's name. Fortunately for me, the added security just ran out, so now my dad is allowing me to sell/trade the car. Woot woot. Since it'll be hard to find someone who wants an auto, this is just a feeler for now. If the right deal came around, I do have the green light to trade.

I LOVE my WRX, but I also LOOOOVE the 2.5RS, and it'd be nice to have more money in the savings account.


I've owned it since August 2004, and has been my daily driver ever since. During the early college years, I never really used the car, so after 7 years, I'm about to hit 70k.

I plan to keep some of my parts - Advans, Brembos, Recaros, STi steering wheel, and coilovers (one or two are blown so I'll keep them). The rest can be negotiated or taken off. I have some stock parts - stock suspension, sway bars, hoodscoop, grille, and some others that'll be included. If you'd like the Advans or Brembos, then be prepared to pay for them - I will not toss them in for free/cheap.



I'm only looking for an RS+cash since this is my only vehicle. If someone wishes to buy my WRX, they must find me a replacement RS lol.

I'm looking for a clean 98-01 2.5RS with:
-COUPE ONLY!
-CLEAN TITLE
-decent mileage, or a recently rebuilt motor
-5spd
-some minor dents will not be an issue
-Ideally white, arcadia green, or red... Any really, I just want an RS!!!!
-stock or semi stock
-mechanically working, not looking to spend a couple grand to fix it up - it will be my daily.
-CASH on top depending on condition and aftermarket parts you'd like to keep on my WRX.

I am NOT parting out my car. If I cannot find an RS to buy/trade for, then I'm keeping my car as is. IF I do have left over parts after finding an RS then I'll make a new FS thread.

Nice car bud. Honestly though, I would just sell the advans and coilovers as the wheels will not really fit without serious fender mods, and the coilovers will add + camber and require different rear top mounts.

hmm, I've always thought 02-03 coilovers are a direct fit for the GC... I'll look it up again, thanks. I'd prefer to keep the coils anyways - I don't feel right giving someone blown suspension. Fender mods to a new RS will not be an issue for me; I rolled/pulled my WRX.


Thanks boss. I already contacted Ramon, but he's considering other offers. Maybe he'll reconsider mine in the future... OR who ever buys his RS will want to trade+cash for my WRX LOL - I can dream, right?
