Hello, posting this for a friend. 115k miles, new tires, automatic, however the motor needs a rebuild most likely. She was driving it and the car started shaking and smoke was coming out the tailpipe. Local shop thinks its a piston ring but can't say for sure without opening it up.

Open to offers, whats this thing worth? I'll post up pictures in a day or two but the last time I saw it, it was in good condition aesthetically. Wish I could buy it...

 

The automatics are much easier to find.

With a blown motor, I'd try to get $3,500-$4,000 for it. A legit mechanic is going to charge upwards of $3-3.5k, at least, for a repair like that.

Not a limited and never been modified. The timing belt was done at 100k miles and the car started having oil consumption problems shortly after. We're thinking maybe the shop messed up on the job but not sure if that's possible to prove.
