got a good working order stock 5 speed wrx tranny?... to trade for my RA gears 1-5 with jdm sycnhros plus cash. RA gears are 1800 new i think and install is another thousand. i already paid to have the gears installed so we can just swap tranny cases and be gravy. the ra gears are much stronger and are good for 350whp+ also, first gear is ACTUALLY usable and the other gears are much shorter which is prime. the stock first gear in the wrx's are useless after 300hp and maybe even useless stock

what's the advantage of "jdm" synchros?
