Ft Jdm 4 pots.

I have a set of red Jdm 4 pot front calipers with the raised letters that I want to trade for the black ones. I don't want people to think I'm a 9ers fan with red calipers and gold bbs wheels. Haha

*Cannot tell if serious* This is a first one for me...Soooo one of your bigger concerns is the color coordination catastrophy of 2 random car parts?!

But if this really bugs you, won't trading/switching wheels be a lot simpler? Or just get those eBay brake caliper covers

Wheels have seniority. They were on the car first. Calipers are sitting in a box.

If the calipers have raised lettering then they were originally black to begin with. And if they're already off the car just sand the paint off and respray black if necessary. It'll save you headache trying to find someone to trade with.

This ^ X10. Chances of finding someone to trade outright is going to be very slim I think.

Doing a good job painting calipers takes a whole hell of a lot more time, effort, and materials than putting up a post like this and hoping the right person spots it. (bump)

I do have to agree your reasons seem pretty retarded. I've never even imagined that my color scheme might make people think I'm representing some professional sport club. I think you're the only person who would ever make that connection. And keeping the gold wheels because they have seniority? What the ****? Do they get a pension plan and medical benefits too? How about you choose to keep them because they are lightweight, or strong, or have a cool design, or you can't afford to change them, or any of a million other sensible reasons?

But yeah, AlliedForces and 04GG are right the black 4/2 pots only came on a few of the mid-late 90's jdm imprezas so there are not too many of them lying around California.

There ARE red JDM ones with raised letters IIRC, but those would be just as rare as these if not more rare (or they are painted as mentioned). I can understand wanting black too, but the reason was the kicker LOL.

ebay, image may go away at some point

Here is doing it right for painting too:

Yeah I was going to say, idk when the JDM WRXs that came with red calipers, 03+ I think, went from raised lettering to the flat with decal. I know the 22B came with red 4 pots instead of black, don't know if they are raised or decaled though...
