FT: I have a set of Deatschwerks 740cc (STI side feed) injectors will trade for your stock set plus $200. The were used for five months and work great. I'm looking for a local swap I live in Fairfield.

what the diffrence top feed....side feed what better for what car and whats not? hehehehe all those questions in only one question whatcha got on that!

 

2004-2006 STI = Side feed only. 2002-2007 WRX = Top feed only. This is all based on the fact that the two cars use different TGVs

Allen, are you going back to stock or something? I haven't seen you around in hella long just got back from overseas?

 

There is not realy a big diference as far as how they perform. From what I have seen the reason they changed is because of the diferent style of AVCS sylinoids in the 04-06 sti's they used AVCS sylinoids with a plug that in virtical and then in 07 they went to a plug that went horazanal from front to back. this gave them more clearence to go back to useing the top feed injectors as the old avcs. I beleve this was only in the US though as the JDM cars still used top feeds with they old AVCS sylinoids on the V7 but they did not have to deal with the TGV's also being in the way. THis is not a for sure reason of why they switched but it is what I would guess after working will diferent setups on my car.
