299??? haha, people are funny. An item is only WORTH what people are WILLING to pay for it. All these people that paid 300 for the core system, including myself, have put them on ebay...it's called supply and demand. 
That is the only reason I bought one, just to resell it, but expect to pay $800+ for a core system.
