FS/WTT: 17x8 Work Emotions w/ S03s

looking to see if there's any interest in trading my set of 17x8 bronze work emotions w/ 235/40/17 S03, around 1500 daily driven miles. looking to trade for 17x8.5 or 18"s with at least 8 inch wide, with or without tires, plus or minus cash. three of the 4 wheels r in perfect condition, only curb rash on one wheel. tires have 90%+ tread left. or i would sell the combo straight for $1250. let me know what u have.

EDIT: the rims r 5x100

i'll posts of the curb rash up later

how does the 235/40/17 feels?
are the tires too thin for street driving?

no they're not as thin as u think. if u do some calculations they have really similar sidewall as the 06 WRX stock wheels(215/45/17). and for us 5 speed guys we also get the advantage of shorter gearing. the sidewall on these tires is alot more stable thru turns than the Hankook RS2 i used to have. and while i have coilovers on my car i find these not harsh even in san francisco downtown roads.

cool,
when can you show them to me?
and where are you located at?
how bad is the curbage on that one wheel?
would like to get them, lugs included or no?

edit: does the heavy weight of the wheels slow your car acceleration?
just curious.
