I have a brand new carbon fiber trunk for MY02-03 subaru wrx laying in my garage. I only put it on once but unfortuately due to inproper installation the piece that holds the latch broke off. However it is an easy fix. You can fabricate another latch holder out of sheet metal and screw it to the hood to hold it. It did not affect any of the weave or clearcoat since its apart of the under skeleton and you cannot see it from the outside. Bought it for $550 so i guess $400 is a fair asking price.
