Okay just tested the system with SC2 on all low settings at 1280x720. It averages 120-160fps. Of course it looks plain and dull on low, but I think you can get away with medium and have 60fps.
I think it will run Diablo 3 pretty decently.
I also tested Dirt 3 and on low settings I get about 40fps. Not too shabby.

SlickDeals has found a sale on these for $469, brand new. Yes, it doesn't have the video card but charging $231 for a video card and ram upgrade is preposterous.

And did you NOT look at the specs???
"Intel Core i5-2430M Processor 2.40GHz CPU
2 GB DDR3
500 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm
14.0" LED (1366 x 768)
Intel HD Graphics 3000
DVDRW
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
6 cell Battery
NO OPERATING SYSTEM (only DOS)"
That's the lowest end T420. The bargain bin version. Not all T420's are the same.
The one I am selling is this one. The one listed for $1229
