This car is basically a track/race car that still has registration and license plates. It is completely reliable enough to drive on the street, its just not real practical due to no headliner and sound deadening. It had a sunroof at one point, but it now has a cover plat riveted in place. Mitsu does sell the roof separately so you could replace it with a solid one and add a headliner no problem. All door panels were kept in tact in order to run street class events and the rest of the interior is there and functional as well. That includes the power windows, stereo, door locks, glove box etc. I also have a back seat but with the roll bar in the rear its no longer usable. It has a completely brand new motor in it direct from mitsubishi as well as a completely new oiling system and turbo, due to loosing the #4 cylinder and I didnt want to re use ANY old parts on the new motor. The car made 320hp and 310tq at the wheels on a low reading mustang dyno and those numbers were good for high 11's in the quarter mile. The new setup has larger cams and turbo so its expected to pick up anywhere from 20 to 40 wheel hp. Its street legal, will pass smog and the only thing Im waiting for before the car is complete is for the new injectors to come in and then to have the car tuned. The new owner would have their choice of what octane race gas map they wanted on the car (100 oct, 104, 110, 112 c16 etc) and it would also have a 91 octane street map as well.
