FS: SMC meth kit - $240

This is an SMC meth kit that is fitted to the windshield washer reservoir, that I had on my car for 40k miles. What can I say? If you want to make 400whp with your FP Green and still fill up at the pump with regular ol' 91 pump and get good mileage, this is for you.

I've also got a 5 gallon meth container I'll throw in. Going WOT a few times a day, you shouldn't need to fill up the meth tank more than a couple of times a month.

I'm only selling this b/c I bought a 2006 STI that this won't directly fit on (2006+ cars have a different windshield reservoir), so I'm just going to buy a kit made for the car rather than adapt this one.

FYI I cut the wiring for the controller during removal (this will make it easier for you to install as well), so you will have to solder/shrinkwrap the four wires that lead from the controller to the pump.

$3.25 a gallon <-- you will go through one gallon every 2-4 weeks.

I got mine here in the east bay, there's probably distributors around the north bay too.

From dynos I've seen, e85 tends to do maybe 20-30whp more. Like an STI with a gt35r will do:
- 370whp on pump 91
- 430-440whp on 91 + meth
- 450-460whp on e85

IMHO the choice between e85 vs. meth is basically a question of if your car is a DD. Can't imagine running e85 on a DD unless I lived right next to a station.

Even then the mileage is crappy and I drive to LA/Tahoe/Vegas a lot - I'd have to REALLY plan out my trips to hit e85 stations, or carry a 50 gallon drum with me

You can call GST for what I/H/E + meth cars usually do on their dyno, I think this setup is usually are around 320-330whp (so it's as if you got an FP Green and ran it on pump, but you have the responsiveness of the stock turbo)
