I have got to come out and say something here. first and foremost, i do not know ANYONE in this thread. i have not met any of these people so this is purely observations that pertain to the harmony of our online subaru community.

Polishwrex, I urge you to be more diplomatic in your approach to online trading. Very active members on i-club have come out and noticed your constant low-balling and lack of communication, so much that peer members have to defend those that you are trying to lowball or "get the best deal out of". this community is about trying to help everyone out and all meet in the middle. when one member veers a bit towards selfishness, it's very noticable because it is explicitly malicious relative to the behavior of long standing members. It's ok to negotiate and try to get a deal, but we have to be reasonable, and knowledge of the market and membership help greatly with that. please just keep an open mind and listen, you will have a better rapport around here if you do. i know you want to argue your point but i am not trying to start an argument. thanks.

 

^^So everything we sell has to be top notch priced? I thought the reason why we have i-club is to help everyone out. not what you think the item is worth. i sell **** hella cheap too help out i clubbers and they do not see it. And it wasnt my fault that this f***er misunderstood.

 

^ I hear ya and I know where you're coming from - not everything has to be priced high, but value is based on demand, and there is a fine line between getting a deal versus lowballing. We just want to make sure that we are working with each other to meet each other in the middle. Lowballing really only benefits the buyer and shows a lack of respect for the seller. I completely understand that this negotiation tactic is favorable for buying anything in this cruel world we live in, but we are all *peer* members who aren't doing business with each other, that's what vendors are for.

And a misunderstanding is just that, a misunderstanding. There's no need to resort to tarnishing one's 'for sale' thread. The OP did not slander your name publicly nor should you slander his. That issue is to be handled between individuals and/or moderators, not in public postings. Let's try to exercise some common sense.

yin i appreciate your input as it is very objective and seems to have gotten through a little to polish who seemed to be having more issues than just the one with myself.
polish - I really don't appreciate you calling me obscene names in my own thread after shaking my hand when leaving my home. if you really have a problem with it, you can pick the place and we can settle this face to face. im not a violent person but you have really rubbed me the wrong way and I don't appreciate the slander of my name...
