The Japanese 180SX is the same rear diff pumpkin as the US one. Different output shafts and final drive but it does bolt onto the car.

oh, so the 180SX used an R200? thought they used the R180 till the SR20s came out.

lol, all i know is that it bolts up but u need the 180sx axles because they're 5 bolt instead of 6 bolt.

The 180SX does have the SR20DET. They were called the 180SX when they had the CA18DET and the name kept with it until production ended in 1998 even though it came with the SR20.
