Smile FS: North Bay Cobb Adj. Rear Swaybar Mounts.

UPDATE: 03/26/10 SOLD!!!!!

New never used or installed cobb rear swaybar mounts. Ive had these for a bit and I don't have a need for them any more. Im looking to get $125 for them. PM me for more detail. Parts are located in Napa.

A little blurb about them.

COBB is proud to announce Rear Swaybar Adjustable Slider Mounts for the Impreza and Forester models. These mounts are designed to allow for proper end-link alignment when using our adjustable Tubular Rear Swaybar.

CAD designed and CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 and clear hard anodized for a long lasting finish. All hardware supplied is high quality stainless steel. Easy bolt in replacement for the existing heavy duty mounts, or may be substituted when purchasing a new Sway Bar kit. May be compatible with other Rear Sway Bar kits, but it is NOT guaranteed.

The images below illustrate the issue with rear endlink alignment when using the different sway bar mounting holes. As you use the stiffer sway bar settings, the rear endlink is placed at a compromised angle which reduces effectiveness and increases the chance of the endlink bending. Changing the sway bar design would only change what positions compromise the rear end link angle.

With the COBB Adjustable Slider Mounts in place, you can now adjust the sway bar's position with relation to the end link. This allows you to keep the end link in the most effective position relative to its pickup point on the sway bar.

Below is an image of the COBB Adjustable Slider Mount in the configuration used when the Sway Bar is at its stiffest setting (moved forward). The design, which was improved using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) design tools, provides higher rigidity even in this configuration compared to the standard Heavy Duty mounts we supply as standard with our Tubular Sway Bar kits. Adjustments are made by moving the slider plate into the optimal position and securing with the
