FS: Modified GD Yakima Q-Tower Roof Rack

For sale is a modified Yakima Q-Tower roof rack for GD Imprezas (02-07). This roof rack has been modified to attach to the rain gutters instead of the window sills.

What's included:

Yakima Q-Tower stands
Modified/Shortened Crossbar
44" Fairing
Snowboard/Ski attachment
Q78 and Q7 clips
4 Rubber Feet Padding
4 Locks
Key

Would like to see how this mounts to car.....does it include everything to attach it to the car? And how well will it withstand theft.....meaning could it just be pried off easier than the qclips?

Yes, everything is included to mount it to your car.

As far as theft goes, I'd say it's slightly better than the window sill method. This utilizes a metal bracket hidden under the rain gutter, instead of the hard plastic (or whatever it is) window sill guard. There is an alternative method to installing this if you want it to be permanent.

Interesting! Ive never seen that method before! I replaced that bracket with some custom milled aluminum ones that had a threaded part in the center so you can use fixed base racks.

What a PITA if u replace them. Wish I would have found this method sooner I wouldnt have needed to sell my yakima stuff lol.
