yes. i used it on my ex's d50 and on my old d70s. it worked on those bodies.. and my coworker's d40x.

i added in pics as well from my camera.

yup absolutely correct. i love the lens, but i dont have a nikon anymore... and my brother in law changed his mind... doesnt want it anymore... so i'm just lookin to get rid of it.
