Awesome... This is probably a stupid question, but what would I need to do to get them to have the correct beam pattern on US roads?

This is probably the cheapest way (other than grinding down the plates yourself, but then that just keeps the pattern flat across instead of angled for LHD the way it should be).

This is probably the cheapest way (other than grinding down the plates yourself, but then that just keeps the pattern flat across instead of angled for LHD the way it should be).

Other than that, you could always get HID's from another source (S2K, TSX, etc) and then perform the retrofit.

whats wrong with the angle? could u just put thin metal shims on the tabs like spacer? seems like a easy fix

No, JDM lighting is designed to go up and to the left. USDM is designed to go up and to the right.

JDM Lighting \___\___

USDM Lighting ___/ ___/

The backing plate does have a lip in it if you look closely at the top of the picture of the brackets that are posted on eBay. The problem with grinding them down to be level though is that the lighting remains flat and doesn't have the angle to help illuminate the upper side of the road (i.e. the street signs).

You could try to see if just adding a washer (metal shims) would help, but I kind of doubt it would be that easy of a fix and not have more people using it already.
