People who are reading this....
the car is a 2002 wrx USDM with a USDM STI swap. Everything but the seats and shell. Simple as that... there was no jdm involved as the owner never typed jdm in his original post..
Good luck with the sale and wheres the pics?! I wanna see this wrx....

but that's not an 02 sti... that's an 02 wrx with an 05 sti driveline swap.
That'd be like calling all the RS's around with swaps sti's.
Or say an old school Mini with a ITR driveline swap an ITR. It's not an ITR it's a mini.
be careful who you call a noob... specially when you don't know WTF you're talking about.
Now I say this... can some moderator please moderate this thread. In other words. DELETE it.
He can then repost this thread with photos and the correct information.
That would be 2002 wrx with 2005 STI drivetrain. Just because you put some badges on it and put the right motor in it doesn't mean this car came from japan and is a japanese car. Hell Aaron's 2002 wrx is as O.G. as they come in the U.S. and as close to a spec C as you can get without it being RHD and from japan but I bet he'd call it a WRX with blah blah blah.
Hard to ask more for a car than what the car its drivetrain came out of in my opinion unless there's a lot about this car not said in which case a new thread with FULL information seems appropriate. Seriously. Buy a 2005 sti for $22-25,000 or by a 3 year older car with the same motor for $25,000?
Bottom line. Unless that car has a roll cage, some ohlin coil overs, a big brake kit, etc. You're asking too much dough.
so.. mods.. please delete this thread so he can go about selling his car without all this crap in his thread.
and polish. When you repost this... IT'S A USDM 2002 WRX with a USDM STI drive train. Period.

Mods don't increase value, just sell-ability.
Why else would everyone part out their car before selling it? (other than exhaust for smog)
This reminds me of those ads that say $20,000 invested!...more like $20,000 burned on car parts and labor.
KBB only has one area to increase value with aftermarket ...and thats wheels.
