^ looks pimp. Might be a silly question, but is the all carbon radio bezel sized for an aftermarket double din, or is it the same size as for the oem non navi radio?

It's the JDM aftermarket double din one.. As in, if you put a double din radio, no kit needed to fill in the gaps on the side (eq. Metra)
see pic above, with my pioneer double din radio (no gaps).
Tomorrow, I may only have one set of STI (black) and STI (silver) left.
Somebody has dibs on 1 STI set / with the sills, and another - the WRX set..

By factory it is double din however like most radio installs you need to get the metra kit to get rid of the lines. I as well bought the JDM bezel so I can get rid of the lines when I was test fitting. But anyways.. Its a usdm thing vs JDM just like our ecus lol. Its all catering to the market.

Yeah, I had the stock Panel Hydro-Dipped also (not the JDM ones like bundled here) and sold it over at IWSTI with the Metra Kit (first set Greg Did). Pretty much needed for an aftermarket Single DIN-RADIO (metra has a cubby on the bottom).
The JDM one here doesn't need the Metra Kit if the radio is aftermarket Double-DIN. Doesn't make sense for an aftermarket single-din radio though as there would be a big hole on the bottom..
looked like this (stocker panel /w metra kit).

The shop that did these for my - FXHydrographics out in BrentWood closed up shop. I don't believe there's another local hydro-dipping shop in the bay area that puts out quality work.
There's a bunch of mail-in ones though that will do it for you..
