The BOV has been on my car for 3000 miles.
Hate the living **** out of it. Not to say it's a bad BOV but once I went TBE with no cats. I started doing drive by's and I disliked that.

Never had any issues with IDLE. No stalling like many had stated. Only issue I had was forgetting to place the O Ring in. That issue was resolved by putting it in again. After which all was good.

The BOV is in good shape, everything: Box, BOV, Flange, o Ring, C Clip, and Japanese Instructions.

Some scratches were made during the battle of seating that damn C Clip. BTW I will throw in a pair of special pliers which will make the job easy.

Everything bolts up and is ready to go with the original box. WOW!

NOTE: to those who are non TBE. I did not have any issues as far as After Fire is concerned. No popping or drive by's.

If you are TBE expect Chitty Bang Bang to make a return. However the sound is neat-o.

However for people who do run bov's with cats, it will clog your cat and make your car run shatty because the turbo has no room to push.

 

where did you come up with that. lol. if it dumps to the atm then it will run rich between shifts but i dont think thats enough to make the cat fail.

 

Rich mixture can and will burn up catalitic converters, but on most cars during engine deceleration, the injectors are at minimum flow, or in some cases shut off completely. But a rich mixture will not clog a cat just make it inefficent for reducing emissions.

Thanks for the bumps and additional information. I want to make sure everyone knows what they will get with the BOV. My car ran great until the TBE came into play. At which point it turned in to the Pop Pop Bang Bang, not what I am looking for.

i remember when i still had mine, i was going around a corner with a bus stop right around the bend. there were two ppl on the bench talking, i had my window down, and when i booked it around the corner and went pssssh, they both ducked. Didn't get their expression afterwards. XD

bov aint gonna do nothin unless you have a bigger turbo. Otherwise its just sounds and chitty chitty bang bang..................but the sound is cool!!!!!!!
