fwiw, this is not a case of buyer backed out on day of sale. i called the seller day of sale and he did not answer, in fact i sent 2 pms and got a response 2 days later giving me the option to still pick it up or not. the timing ended up not being right, and had he been closer i would have had it by now. i directly expressed my regret for that point to the seller, and i think it is understandable, so yea it sucks that im gettin nailed for callin "dibs" but in my defense i had made full arrangements to meet the seller and had full intent on picking up the part, so this is not a quick draw dibs incident. i am a legitimate buyer and my rating can say something on that.
