i could be wrong but i really think it does fit.. i have the subydude shortshifter also. out of all my mods ive done(quite a bit), this is the most PITA mod to install. its actually very easy but when you get to the part where u install the spherical part, ur gonna need like a 300 lb strong person to push down on the shifter to get the spherical part in. im PRETTY sure it does fit~just need mucho strength.

yea, did i meet you before? i got the sphere part in its the barrel part that doesnt fit. it seems to be too big.

 

oh im the korean guy, i met u at uc tapioca. i have a black 04 wrx. barrel part? hm i dont remember.. the bushing doesnt go in?

 

that metal part of the shifter that the screw goes in to connect it to the shifter rod is too big. i dunno whats wrong with it
