Before jumping to conclusions, I'm gonna give Valentine another call to make sure they have the right serial.
OP bought the power adapter for it through them, so not sure how it could be stolen.

Valentie One Radar
I purchased the radar detector a while ago from a friend of mine who is a pretty large general contractor. I told "juicy" I was just as shocked as he was and offered to pay him his money back as i was not intending to sell someone something that is apparently stolen or reported stolen. I am an honest person and wouldnt want anyone ripping me off...I have put a call into my friend who i purchased it fromand will let everyone know when he calls me back. Why would someone risk something that large for a measley $225.00. Sorry my time on this earth is worth much more than fencing something apparently "hot" like a crackhead.......

Not going to join any lynch mob, but $225 is about $100 less than legit used V1s usually sell for.

Im not a crook or a thief that sells stolen stuff. I bought that radar detector from a buddy of mine a long time ago. I have had plenty of crap stolen and i know how it feels. I would never buy or sell anything that i knew was stolen or "hot" its not worth it and its not fair to anyone.. As i mentioned to " juicy" i am happily willing to refund his money and get to the bottom of this my self.. By the way i havent gone anywhere ive been here the whole time. I am still waiting to hear back from my contractor buddy who is up in the mountains---- the guy i bought it from. Maybe thats how i bought so many houses and cars>> at night i secretly gank peoples stuff and sell it on public websites..... Seriously, you gotta be trippin

if the V1 is stolen/hot does that mean it will be cut off from the company completely in terms of support/parts/accessories?
