FS/FT: 68HTA turbo
Located in Denver, CO. Happy to ship.
I have a Forced Performance HTA68 turbo that I'd like to trade for something just a bit bigger. FP Green would be great, or a TD06 20g of sorts.
It's freshly rebuilt (had just a touch too much shaft play for my liking) with a genuine FP rebuild kit and balanced by Central Motive Power in CO. It also had a slightly chewed up turbine wheel so I replaced that with an OEM Mitsubishi wheel.
It's a stock location 2.4" inlet size, I believe 7cm hotside housing. Set up for IWG (costs a hundred more from FP, and can still be run EWG if you want). You can expect mid 300 whp numbers on pump gas and likely break 400 whp on e85 fuel. I'm just looking for a turbo with a bit more top end than this can give me. Known for being the best turbo for a 2.0L motor.
Other option is to sell it outright. I'd like $700 shipped for it.
Here are some pictures of the turbo as I tore it down. You can see the front oil seal had gone bad and how the turbine wheel was a little chewed.

If needed I have a set of Witch Hunter top feed injectors that are rated at 830cc to support this turbo. I'll include them with the turbo for only $200. They have less than 500 miles on them.

If there was any confusion, the turbo had too much shaft play when I got it, therefore I decided to do the rebuild. It's got next to none now, as any new journal bearing turbo would.
