FS or FT: 2002 Forester (modded)
I've had this car for 4 years and it's been in my family for nearly 10. I've hit a point where anything else I want to do to the car will be a mega financial investment and I'm just ready for something else.
My build focused around reliability and to this day my car has not once started in more than 2 cranks. The most upgraded areas are suspension, braking, and the sound system. It's just a great car to drive. It's predictable, fun, and anything but boring.
I kept the engine mods simple. The car has high mileage but like I said it's been in my family since it was pretty much new (lease return). My dad and I are both ASE certified mechanics and the car was never driven very hard. We have been fanatics about maintenance, and it shows. There's no doubt in my mind this car will run another 200,000 miles easily. In addition, my 3 years of professional detailing experience shows in the paint. It's certainly not flawless but sure doesn't look 11 years old!
The car has won the Forester category of BAM and will be featured in the 2014 Forester calendar and I've seen pictures of it floating all over the internet and Subaru pages.

If you add up the cost of these mods, the number is staggering. It hurts to look at. I'm probably looking for around $8k to sell it outright. I'm also looking at trades though, such as a Forester xt, wrx wagon, Saab 9-2x Aero, 2004-2007 Volvo V70R, Legacy GT wagon, or possibly something else depending on what comes up. Definitely looking to stay in a manual transmission.

Thanks guys! I'm still really on the fence about selling it since I have some things that I really want to see done on it.
I got the hood from a guy in socal that parted out a track Forester. There's a couple of them for sale right now actually, and I definitely don't see these sitting around.
