FS/FT: 05 WRX swapped and modded
I am selling a 2005 Subaru WRX Sedan in CGM. The car has around ~88k mi on the body. Car is originally from Pennsylvania. It has seen heavily salted roads. But typical rust around the bolts and a spot inside the gas door. It recently got a new STI engine built with goodies as explained in the mod list below. Just barely over 2,500 mi on the engine itself. Interior is about a 7/10. Seats are in great condition but the headliner has some marks. Body could use some work (5/10) with battle wounds from Hurricane Sandy and a scuff mark on the drivers side rear bumper from the previous owner. But most of the scratches can be buffed out. I just had the lateral links replaced with all new hardware, some previous insurance work replaced most of the parts in the undercarriage at IAG Performance, and Engine work done at Tach Motor Works in NY. I really have an attachment to the car and makes me quite emotional to sell it. I'm in no hurry but unfortunately converting it to be a Californian car is too expensive for me and I want to focus on school.
Cons:
Needs headlights to be re-wired. Previous owner did a ****ty wiring job.
New wheels and Tires. One wheel is bent and vibrates at 70 mph
Not California Smog ready
Rust (its from New York whatta ya want)
Brakes (Very due for new brakes)
Hood Strut needs to be replaced
Otherwise the engine is strong and the car has a lot of potential. Great canvas for more power or a race car. Out of the 3 years I've owned the car I only drove it for 4 months and babied it mostly. I wouldn't be able to tell you what power its making but its on a conservative tune, tuned by Le sir Mikey Botti. Road Tune.
The car is registered in PA til October 2014.
