FS - ej257 shortblock $250
Plans for a hybrid build have been changed, decided I need the extra dough for responsible, non frivolous expenses such as concert tickets and various corresponding party favors. That and my timing belt is due and my bug's valve cover is all leaky leaky.
All the pistons and rings are in tact, car was running, no spun bearings. BUT I can see light scoring in a couple cylinders. I can't feel it but you can see it in the cross hatching. See linked pictures to take a looksy. You're welcome to come check it out yourself no pressure.

Every 2 photos is a cylinder's left and right side, in the album the order from top left to right 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1.
$250 picked up, its in a little Subaru boxy crate thing.
I bought it to just take it apart and learn some s***, and slowly accumulate the required parts for the build and just do it diy garage style. But I'm just going to boost my 2.0 till it pops and cross this bridge when I get there.
Rings, good. Cylinder walls, meh. they need an hone. Block hasn't been split so the rest of it is in there. Block has 85kish miles on it
Thanks _ Harry
