naa the ***** never said no lol, actually it was inherited, EGL and GIA are two of the most respected labs in the world. as for value yes appraised at 5k retail can prolly sell for 4,500. so I will settle for 1.5k.

Just so some of you guys know the certified value isn't necessarily what you could sell it for. I purchased a certified colorless diamond that appraised at $2800, but I got it retail for $1799 with the 18k white gold setting.

The color and clarity are a bit low, but the 1ct is probably the biggest cost factor there.
