So I got this kit to put the STi diffuser on GC8/GD cars, but it is made to work with oem sway bar mounts. I have Perrin mounts, and frankly, am not too excited about modifying it to fit it on my car, as sway bar mounts are a PITA to mess with. So $200 picked up for these ( Under car brace, brackets and bolts for the diffuser, and the diffuser.) - never installed.


I'm near Sacramento.

How does the blue bar attach to the car?

 

Yeah, I bought it from him.

The blue bar attaches to the chassis right under the sway bar mounts.

 

the cusco rep at sema told me it does fit just fine.

 

n00b to i-club, but what does GC8/GD mean?? I have a 04 STi, looking to get smething nice like that. Will an aftermarket exhaust clear or work with the diffuser?? Thanks.

Different Chassis styles. For example the GC8 is the chassis code for the 2.5RS type chassis before the bugeyes came out. And GD is for the '02+ chassis. Like GDA and GDB etc.

Some exhausts require you to trim the diffuser.

Sorry for resurrecting this old post... Anyone know offhand if this will fit under the COBB Tuning heavy duty sway mounts?
