FS: Creative Vision M: Ipod Killer

I got a brand new never opened Creative Zen Vision M for sale. This thing is amazing and instead of listing all it's goodies i will just direct you to the website, however, i will say that it was voted best of CES 2006, has double the video play time of ipod video (4hrs compared to 2hrs) ..

Somethings that the Creative Vision M does better than the 5G Ipod:
1) It has double the Video play time of the Ipod Video (4 hours to 2 hours)
2) It has a 262,144 color screen, a much better than the 65,000 color screen on the Ipod Video.
3) It supports open formats (DivX, WMV, Xvid, MPG1, MPG2, MPG3, MPG4) to Ipod's iTunes.
4) It has a drag and drop USB 2.0 Charging and data transfer dock that is highly customizable.
5) There's a customizable shortcut key on the interface. (Ipod don't)

If you would like some good reviews on the product, you can go to www.pricegrabber.com or http://www.creative.com/products/mp3...ionm/buzzroom/

I would like to sell this locally, i'm constantly commuting between san leandro, pleasanton and concord. So i can deliever to any of those three areas. Anywhere else, we can figure something out.

The unit that I am selling is black in color and it also comes with a *Brand New* FM Transmitter from Belkin.

I will sell both together for 320 (Retail for Vision M: 299.99 Plus tax and shipping, Belkin FM Transmitte: 49.99 Plus tax and shipping)

You will rarely find the Creative Zen Vision M anywhere in stores because of it's increasing popularity. If you have any further questions, shoot me a PM.

the Zen just comes off as a slightly larger, slightly heavier IPod. Sure, it's cheaper and it's got longer battery life. But that's not going to put a dent in IPod sales, is it? Especially not when people pick it up and realize it still uses pick-list commands for many of its functions. Looks a lot like a poor IPod knock-off, doesn't it?

... obviously u have not owned a creative product before. By no means is it a knock-off, and i've just listed some reasons why the zen is better in my first post. if you dont want it, dont buy it.

damn...that's an awesome piece. Good price too...

I wish I weren't saddled with my iPod...I actually asked for an Archos for christmas and got the iPod instead. It's not that the iPod sucks or anything...it's just quite mediocre. Plus add onto the fact that it's locked into iTunes and it's DRM'ed AAC crap and it just pisses me off even more. Seriously...what's so damn hard about drag and drop? Anyways, not to rant or anything, but I just wanted to counter that the other guy says. The iPod ain't that great, click-wheel ain't sliced bread, and like Volkswagon, majorly propped up by marketing and advertising. They've done such a good job of advertising that my sis thought that the only thing in the world that could play mp3's were iPods and Fry's did nothing to persuade her otherwise.

Anyhow, ignore the iPod lemmings...I'm sure you'll have a taker for the mp3 player no prob. You should really go on eBay...they're selling pretty well on there.

the Vision M is better than the ipod for 1 reason. it plays DIVX files. i sure as hell woudlnt want to spend hours converting my billions of divx and xvid files to a format the ipod plays.

ipods are easy to use but thats about the only positive they have.

Why are you even posting? Your input has nothing to do with him selling his item

Creative's sound quality is always top tier. I'm an iPod user (I'm an Apple/Mac user, so that's natural), but every PC sound card I've owned and a speaker system is a Creative product. I know an audiophile who owns one of those 512MB cigarette lighter shaped Creative MP3 players and swears by it's sound quality.
