Car Info: 2018 Golf R Variant
FS: Classic Mini
For Sale: Austin Mini, RHD, originally from the UK, registered as a 1968 with a clear CA title.
998cc, single carb, 4spd manual, indicates 108k miles. Dry suspension.
Wind-up windows, nice interior, billet trim and handles, dash pod with MP/h Speedo, Tach, Temp and Fuel
CD-player with MB-Quart component speakers in the rear.
12” alloy wheels with Falken tires, also have 10" OEM steelies.
Full front suspension rebuild with new cones and new bushings everywhere – MANY new parts.
New sport steering rack - 2.2 turns lock to lock.
New exhaust from the head to the tailpipe including Swain coated header.
New intake manifold.
8.4” Cooper Clubman brakes with AP calipers and stainless lines.
Starts and drives every time, never once let me down. I have driven this car 3 days last week all over the place and it’s an absolute blast to drive and gets tons of smiles. Don’t want to sell it but if the right offer comes along I will let it go. Recent suspension and front end work cost in excess of $6,500. Not looking to trade.
Asking $9,500 or reasonable offer.

LOL I noticed the license plate was super similar to my (your) 2.5's... then I realized its you, wombat Wish we had 10k for this beauty... its always been my dad's dream to drive one of these again. He told me that in the old days in Hong Kong, he used to pay 15 HKD to rent out a car for a day or two, and it was his hobby to try out all kinds of cars. After Hondas, Ferraris, Datsuns, Porsches and whatnots... for some reason the 60's Mini stood out as most memorable to him. It's amazing to see one of these still in such awesome condition! Good luck with the sale
By the way, we still have to meet up!!

You let me know if you get to that point. I'll enjoy and love that thing as if it was still yours. And...You'll be welcome to come up anytime.

Which one did you pick up? I have been watching the classifieds lately.
I am getting some funny questions on this thing... Pretty much every email is obviously from someone who knows nothing about these cars. I have been asked if it has airbags TWICE. ABS once. WTF?
