Yes it is, it is a nice lens, I just don't use it anymore. It comes with the lens caps(obviously) and the lens hood.

That super-wide angle lens sounds nice...but I can't spend any money right now...

I also want a medium zoom lens with a f/1.4, but they're super expensive.

Zoom with F/1.4? Are you on crack? Even on Canon's L glass the widest you get on a zoom is f/2.8. You are right about the price, the lens I replaces the Tamron with cost me 4x what I am selling the Tamron lens for...

Oh yeah you're right, I tested my friend's L series medium zoom and was surprised it was only an f/2.8...I guess I can always dream.

I am guessing the 24-70? That is the one I replaced the Tamron with. The Tamron is very similar (28-75), and I have been very happy with the pictures taken with it, but now that I have a weather sealed 1 series body I want the lens to go along with it. The Canon lens is weather sealed so I can use it in conditions I would not bring the Tamron out in to.

Do you still have the super-wide angle lens? Firm on the price?
