You did a pretty good job with the paint. I also got mine used already painted with flat black. I like the stealthiness, but not the paint job that the original owner did. I just went to Home Depot and got some gel type paint thinner to take it off. It was really easy and it also shined up the muffler up a bit. Looked brand new before I put it on.
So if anyone is being held back by the flat black look, you can always just take it off EASILY. I'll even lend you some paint thinner! ;-)
